You may or may not be aware of an incident that happened at a Te Awamutu race recently when a rider fell off when clipped by a car.  The attached article is worth your reading, this is why we at Morrinsville Wheelers are VERY strict about traffic management and rider safety. Yes we are racing, but on open roads there are other road users out there, and that can create hazards for us all. Please take on board the information, whilst Te Awamutu is a different club, has larger numbers of riders at events - the message is the same... Ride within the road code, and rules of UCI, and the club.  Keep yourself safe predominently by keeping left, and looking after yourself and others in your bunch.

This is the type of thing which could hinder us from hosting events, so we must all be vigilent and do our part.
