11/12/2008: "Club Hill Climb Championships 2008"

These are the provisional results for the club's Hill Climb Championships held on 11 November 2008. We need to confirm that all cup winners are fully registered (not just twilight series) with the club in order to win the trophy at the end of year function.

All riders who particpated in the event will have times given and visitor (for riders from other clubs) or twilight (for people riding in the twilight series only) beside their name... If we get this wrong (i.e. you have fully registered and paid your subs on or before 11 November) please let us know. I am working with the club data-base but as we have so many new members it is not always easy to get it 100% right all the time. Thanks.




The course As with all years past riders raced from the bottom of Quine Road hill to the top (from the Morrinsville side of the hill). approx distance 1.3km.This race has a huge history in the club... The club record still stands at 3mns 27 (by Mark May as an U17 rider). For the 2nd year running Louis Wright came close to the record... oh well, Louis was the fastest time overall for two years running, not a bad effort for the U17 rider.
