07/28/2008: "Saturday's Race"

Few riders turned up for the storm of the decade!! Those that did rode once around the Taharoa -Scotsman's Valley circuit.

Dave May was struggling doing 5km/hr up the hill, winds were blowing etc... On the down hill he was very pleased to see himself doing over 50km/hr until the fizzing sound of a flat tyre on his rear wheel! Gemma phoned mum on cell phone and Cindy picked him up! just as well!
