03/04/2008: "Kaimai Cycles Twilight Series - Race 17 - 26 February 2008"

While the NZ Track Nationals were on in Invercargill local riders participated in the ‘world championships’ that are the Kaimai Cycles Twilight Series. Thanks to Roz, Cindy, Mary & Mark for your help judging, time keeping etc. All races were bunch starts (Scratch races) graded on abilities… Looks like everyone put in a good effort. Great to see so many U13, U15 and U17 riders out there!!

For the purpose of the Kaimai Cycles Points for the series each grade will be allocated points equally (i.e. first in A, B, C & D will get the same points. U13,15,17 will also be allocated points in this manner separate to open riders). Sandra, Quentin, Dave will receive 5 pts & Louis will be awarded 3 pts as they were representing the WBOP at the nationals. Mark & Roz will receive 5 pts each because they helped organise the event.
